LabEx CIMI is pleased to welcome Prof. Joseph M. Landsberg as Chair of Excellence at ITM until July 8, 2023.

Prof. Landsberg is interested in problems at the interface of algebraic geometry, differential geometry and representation theory. His current research focuses on geometric questions arising from complexity theory. J. Landsberg defended his thesis in 1990 at Duke University, under the supervision of Robert Bryant. He was a lecturer at Paul Sabatier University from 1996 to 2000, and has been a professor at Texas A&M University since 2004.
