The Scientific and Governing Board consists of 20 members, 16 academics and 4 representatives of the social and industrial partners of the program.

The Scientific and Governing Board (CSA) is in charge of measuring and controlling the achievements of the project, the effectiveness of the hiring made within the program, and the expenses made in accordance with the budget. The CSA will set up and advise on the orientations of the educational program in accordance with the objectives of the project. Inside the board, a specific committee is in charge of the educational program, another one is more concerned with the industrial partnerships. Every year, the board delivers a critical and constructive assessment of the activities of the CIMI program. The committee meets once a year, but is active at a regular pace (through electronic exchanges).
